Last Minute Holiday Sales

by

There’s only 22 more shopping days until Christmas. Are you doing anything to increase your Holiday Sales? According to americasresearchgroup.com, 38% of people surveyed won’t begin shopping until after December 15th. There’s still time to market to those last minute shoppers who may be looking for that something special. Here are some ideas:

  • Check around for Holiday craft shows - you still may be able to get into some of them. Sometimes the small church, scout or school shows can be very lucrative, and usually have inexpensive entry fees.
  • Host a trunk show - see of your local bank, hospital gift shop, gym or beauty salon will let you set up a table for a day. If you donate a portion of your proceeds to a local charity, many newspapers or radio stations will do a press release, and give you free advertising for the event.
  • Get your friends together and have a home jewelry party. Invite friends, family and co-workers to see your jewelry, have some snacks and drinks, and have fun.
  • Give Ebay a try. Many people shop Ebay this time of year, looking for unique gifts and bargains.
  • If you have a studio, try having an open house. You can do this by yourself, or you can get a group of artists together. See if you can get the local newspaper to do an article on the event, or contact the local news stations and see if they would be willing to do a live remote from your event.
  • WEAR YOUR JEWELRY - this is absolutely the best advertising you can do. And don’t forget to have business cards available to hand out.

These are just a few ideas to help increase your holiday sales. People are always looking for unique gifts, and hand made jewelry is always unique. Good luck and Happy Holidays!
