If you make jewelry, or create any other types of arts or crafts, a good place to sell your creations is a craft show. But how do you find good shows? What do you need to do to apply? In this issue, we will discuss where to find craft show listings.
During the summer (or the winter in the South), there seems to be art and craft shows every weekend. But in order to get into these shows, you have to first find them. There are many places where you can find show listings:
These are free resources where you can find art and craft shows or festivals. There are also many on line directories that list events. Some are free, some are subscription sites, and some offer free trials:
These are just a few ideas for finding shows where you can sell your creations. Before you commit to doing a show, it’s always a good idea to check out the promoter, the show itself, or talk to others who have participated in the past to see if it would be a good fit for you.
